Why LifeGroups

 

You’re new to the church, you are just getting used to the songs, the standing up, the sitting down, the dumb jokes the pastor tells.... And then someone says “Hey, why don’t you come to our LifeGroup?” You can probably feel the knots already forming in your stomach just thinking about it. Going to a house full of people that you don’t know to talk about the bible that you don’t read may not sound like your idea of a good time. Why LifeGroups?


LifeGroups are what connect you to each other. Another reason you may not want to go to one. But the truth is we need each other. If we are going to grow as followers of Jesus, we will need the help of some people around us. It is too hard to do on our own. LifeGroups allow you to meet people who will learn along with you about what a relationship with Jesus is all about. They will also support you and pray for you when life is hard.


Joining a LifeGroup is a risk, no doubt about it. We think you will be glad you took the risk as you begin to live life together with people who share a passion to live their life like Jesus.
