Since Turning Leaf Community is a part of the Church of the Nazarene we help support approximately 462 Career Missionaries plus 262 Mission Corps volunteers in 156 world areas. At Turning Leaf we are always trying to help those in our local neighborhood as well as sending our local members around the world to go and serve people in need.
Faith Promise Sunday is March 4th with Howie and Bev Shute from Africa. We will enjoy a challenging presentation from them in the morning service. Sunday night at 5:00 pm we will have our banquet at the new gym on the campus of Southwest Indian Ministry Center. News Flash: we have scheduled a children's choir from Uganda to sing. Plan to attend this annual event with emphasis on reaching others for Christ.

Bill and Eileen Estle: volunteering January 18th through April 16th in East Africa to help with Work & Witness Teams. They will be working with Don and Evie Gardner in Kenya. Please pray for health, strength and safety as they will be traveling and leading four Work & Witness teams.
Work & Witness is a ministry for all ages providing construction, evangelism, medical work, office work, or other services needed in a world mission area for approximately two weeks. TLC Is planning a Work & Witness trip June 23-30, 2012 to Kinlani Church of the Nazarene in Flagstaff. This church is part of the Southwest Native American District. The team will be doing construction and also helping with Vacation Bible School. There is room for 15-20 people and the cost is approximately $350 per person. Nazarene Child Sponsorship exists to advocate for children who are destitute. (In 2009, Nazarene Compassionate Ministries’ Child Development program provided more than 12,000 sponsorships and nutritional assistance in over 80 countries.)
Turning Leaf also provides money to Nazarene Disaster Relief which is a denominationally supported network of disaster volunteers who respond to victims of natural and human-made disaster.
