Friday & Mary Ganda
Friday and Mary Ganda are assigned to the West Africa Field with the Church of the Nazarene. Prior to this assignment they served in the Horn of Africa for five years.
Graduating from Kagumo College in 1982 with a teaching certificate, Friday then pursued a Diploma of Theology from Nazarene Bible College, a degree in education from Kenya Institute of Education, and a Bachelor of Arts (Biblical Studies) from Christian Life International Bible College.
Prior to appointment as missionaries for the Church of the Nazarene Friday served as a pastor for five years, as district superintendent for six years, as mission coordinator of Kenya for two years, and as JESUS film coordinator for East and French Fields for two years.
The vision of Friday and Mary is to reach the unreached, nurture them, identify and train leaders and deploy these leaders. The Gandas have five children: Beatrice, Daniel, Phillip, George and Marcy.
Friday Ganda and his wife Mary Friday are our LINKS missionaries and we have two wonderful opportunities to meet them and hear their stories. The NMI zone service will be Saturday, Oct. 3rd at Orangewood Church at 6 pm and then they will be sharing with us on Sunday morning, Oct. 4th at TLC. LINKS stands for Loving Interested Nazarenes Knowing and Sharing. It is one way to help local churches connect with our missionaries around the world.
