At Turning Leaf, we understand prayer to be part of the relationship that God calls us into. It would be easy to think that since God already knows what we think, there is no need to formalize my thoughts into prayers. But that would be like saying “since my spouse or my friends know what I like and don’t like, I’ll just hang out with them but I won’t talk to any of them.” Verbal communication is not just a way of expressing our needs, it is also the primary way we develop relationships. It’s no different with God. As I pray, relationship with the creator God is being built. And, yes, He hears your needs and responds to them out of His grace and mercy.

We have a prayer group that meets every Tuesday except the 2nd Tuesday of each month at the home of the LaRue’s, 5820 w. Harmont dr. Glendale, 85392. You are always welcome to join us, even if it is only for a week where you really need prayer. We will pray for that request the week it comes in, asking God to meet your needs.
