BARB SAGE
COMMUNITY CARE PASTOR
God has called me into nursing and into a ministry of showing compassion and care to those who are sick or hurting. My ministry includes, but is not limited to, visiting those in the hospital and reading scripture and praying with them, providing meals for those recently discharged from the hospital, and storing and making available medical equipment such as hospital beds, wheelchairs, walkers, shower chairs, etc. I also am in charge of new visitor visitation, and teaching the Basic Beliefs class.

Beth serves as the Children's Pastor and the Special Events Coordinator at Turning Leaf. In 2001 she felt the call into Children's Ministry. This call was confirmed in 2004 while she was in Guatemala working with children in a Vacation Bible School. It is her desire to show Jesus to children and assist them in developing lifelong relationships with Him.

Matt felt a call to ministry his junior year at Millennium High School. He is attending Arizona Christian University and will be graduating in May. Matt has served as the youth intern for the past two years and is excited to begin his own ministry at Turning Leaf. He loves teens and is looking forward to walking with them as they grow in their faith and in their desire to seek out who God is in their lives.

Pastor Tom spent 43 years in full-time ministry, retiring to Phoenix in 2009. He became Connection Pastor at TLC in 2010. He serves joyfully in the area of “Lunch Bunch” (taking new people out to lunch) … visitation … Life Group (facilitator) … helping with hospital visits and being an encourager to all. It is a real joy to serve others. .
